By Laura Spencer, Editor-in-Chief
I am excited to introduce myself as the Blue and Grey’s new editor-in-chief for the 2018-2019 academic year.
Beginning with this issue, redesigned and reimagined, we will learn from one another what a school newspaper is, and what it can be, in our always- changing world.
Technology efficiently delivers news and pictures. I am prepared to devote more energy into our website and our social media in order to better engage with you.
I am here to partner with the readers and deliver a newspaper that will consis-tently excite readers.
In order to produce the best newspaper, I need the best staff: I am calling for social media managers, illustrators, photographers, distributors, columnists, and anyone else who has a voice to be heard. Any level of experience is welcomed. The Blue and Grey is not an activity that is limited to communications majors.
I can proudly say that I have felt a wel-coming nature here at Hood. Hood is here to boost us up and help us succeed.
I have been contributing to the Blue and Grey as the web editor for about a year. I came to Hood College as a transfer student during the 2017 spring semester.
I am excited for a productive and exciting academic year.
